I recently purchased a refurbished HP Elitebook 820 as well as a Wi-Fi card and adapter as according to this installation guide for the Elitebook 840. While I was able to install the parts and put the device together, it was a very tight fit where part of the bottom case is protruding. While the adapter was able to be cut down to fit, the Wi-Fi card itself can't be placed down all of the way due to its length and a plastic bit used for holding the Wi-Fi card connection cables being in the way.
Is there another Wi-Fi compatible card that doesn't require an adapter to install?
