Hackintosh broken after Mojave 10.14.4 update. Help me recover!

Let me preface this by saying I know I was stupid to not properly keep my backups up do date and to update macOS without doing any sort of prep for an update.

Basically, I did the update through settings from 10.14.3 and now when I select my hackintosh in clover boot menu, it starts to load apple loading bar for about 4 minutes and when it’s finished the screen goes dark and nothing else happens.

Now I know the easiest way if fixing this to just start my hackintosh from scratch with a backup, it’s just that there’s a single folder of recent holiday photos that aren’t in the latest back up that are on my hackintosh drive.

I guess what I’m asking is how can I recover these. I have windows and Mac computers available to me to help. Is it as simple as just plugging the hackintosh SSD to another Mac computer and copying the files over.

Also, when booting in verbose, the last couple lines indicate an ACPI CPU time-out error (60s) which I’ve tried to hack into google but to no avail as everyone’s occurrence of this error has different circumstances.
