Build Specs Asus Prime Z370 i5-8600K OCd to 5.0GHz (Stable) 16GB DDR4-2400 2x 500GB Evo 970 + 1TB WD Black Asus RX580 OC 8GB
Recently updated my build to 10.14.5 and changed SMBios from 18,2 to 19,1 and saw about a 10% increase in performance and much better power management. CPU idle is at about 1.4Ghz and overall feel is much more stable
I’m very impressed with the performance of the i5-8600k and see no need to upgrade to 9th gen in the time being.
Updated to latest Lilu, Whatevergeen, AppleALC and VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC
iMessages, iCloud and FaceTime all functional with the updated SMBios!
