I've got a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (2-in-1), model 7586.
I've got pretty much everything working, aside for a small graphics issue, and the following:
If I close the lid of my laptop, and then open it, the screen stays black, with the keyboard backlight on for a few seconds (note: the keyboard backlight isn't controlled by the OS, it's just on when there's power). Then, it reboots.
When it boot back into macOS, it doesn't give the emergency shutdown message like it does after a kernel panic or hard reset - and I don't see any sign of disk corruption, either. It looks like it's rebooting gracefully.
If the laptop is plugged in with HDMI, it doesn't sleep, and is fine when I open it.
Sleeping and waking without touching the lid works fine.
What's going on?
