I was curious if anyone has gotten Catalina to work on this laptop? I was going off of a Spectre build and a x360 as they seem similar. Different kexts are needed obviously to get everything going.
I can get clover to load up and start the install, but hangs up. Ex: stays on “complete status bar” for install. -v helped a little for where it ended, gave more questions than answers honestly.
Three scenarios that are here. 1)Kernel Panic (rare) 2)Universal stop sign 3)Stalls our on a complete status bar.
Ftimerservicematching timed out is what I’m getting from -v
Any ideas? I’ve been going at it on my days off and haven’t had too much success. Debating about starting fresh on the clover build.
Set up is between windows/OS X Catalina (wife’s MacBook, limited access during the week as I’m working 16hr days 6-7 days a week at the moment)
