In need of help installing BigSur from scratch.
I've compiled EFI folder all accordingly to my system and plugged it in to select "*Install macOS BigSur (External)*" from the OC Boot Picker - I chose the blank SSD available for the OS to install on, and it had begun to install. However, about 20 seconds in, it restarted. Thinking it was all part of the process (which I've been through before on another system), I left it alone; and it initially went back into the Boot Picker with the following options:
-
WindowsOS
-
Install macOS
-
Install macOS BigSur (External)
-
Recovery
-
Reset NVRAM
It automatically was set to #2, thus I left it alone - again, thinking it was all part of the process.
Upon system restarting - it would display ** (PHOTO)** and restart once again, ultimately ending up in a loop. I tried looking into this and it ***may be a Kernel Issue ? (https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/troubleshooting/extended/kernel-issues.html#stuck-on-eb-ld-ofs-err-0xe-when-booting-preboot-volume) however I'm unsure of what the error message is indicating.***
That said, I cannot even get into recovery - **let alone the OC Boot Picker.** The error will pop up prior to the Boot Picker, thus I have no other option but to boot into Windows as default. Any help here would be super appreciated as I have no idea what might be causing this, barring any progress in installing macOS.
I've uploaded my EFI and Error Log File for reference.
Your help & time would be incredibly appreciated.
