My current spare Linux rig has i5-8400, 16GB 2400GHz RAM (single stick), 240GB SATA SSD on a rather entry-level MSI H310 PRO VHD motherboard. I do have a spare MSI GT710 2GB DDR3 GPU from another rig if needed, but I think the Intel UHD630 IGP is more performant anyhow so that'd be okay if it works.
Is it possible to have a stable, usable Hackintosh on the above mentioned hardware with functioning USB/USB2 ports, smooth desktop graphics (full use of IGP), smooth usage of the Realtek ALC887 Codec based integrated sound-card, and full usage of the Realtek RTL8111H based network card ?
My main purpose is to run Garageband for my very minimalistic home-studio with an external audio interface - a Behringer UMC22 device, a little bit of video editing etc (if possible).
I am almost a newbie when it comes to Hackintosh setup although I'd tried it once some 6-7 years back with limited success, but willing to give this a fair shot, if some guidance and pointers were available.
