| | So I have a disk with windows installed on it on one partition, and I want to install OpenCore macOS Monterey on the second partition. The volume is NTFS GPT, the USB flash drive is FAT32 GPT. I made the USB and I can boot OpenCore from it. When booting, there are two options: the SSD with windows and the USB flash drive. I choose the USB flash drive option. Then I have the following options: Windows, Windows, Install MacOS Monterey, OpenShell.efi, Reset NVRAM. I choose Install macOS Monterey. I tried that a few times. I also tried to remake the USB bootable. Basically what happens after pressing enter on Install macOS is the Apple logo appears for 3-5 seconds (sometimes slower, sometimes faster), and then reboots to the Boot Manager. Why does that happen? My EFI folder , originally downloaded from https://github.com/taarkov/Honor-MagicBook-X15-Hackintosh Hardware: HONOR Magicbook x15, Inter Core i5-10210U, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD. I'm not very experienced in hackintosh/installing OSs, so please let me know if I should provide any more information. [link] [comments] |
I boot OpenCore, choose "Install MacOS Monterey", the apple logo appears for ~5 sec., then reboots
