Heavy CPU throttling

I’ve spent the last 4 days googling and attempting fixes so i’m just going to ask here.

I have a 2017 mbp (2.4 i5, 8gb) OCLP with sonoma installed. I got OCLP in the hopes of being able to restore my CPU functionality as I have a non genuine battery installed and my cpu is throttling because of it.

I installed OCLP and disabled firmware throttling, rebooted and my CPU req dropped from 1 (which is the speed it was locked at) to 0.4 and slowed down. Then after a while (i closed the laptop and went out and came back) the CPU req unlocked, and i got full functionality, and then locked at 3.6.

I thought it was fixed, so i signed in to icloud (was that wise?) and finished setting everything up. Immediately after signing in, my CPU temps shot up to over 90 and my fans were running full blast so i rebooted. Ever since it’s been stuck at cpu req 0.4 and my max clock speed is 1ghz.

My brain is fried, i’ve tried CPUtune and nobatterynoproblem and neither of them work because they crash after mounting or i need to remove ioplatformpluginfamily.kext for full functionality which i can’t do on any OS after catalina (unless i can do it in OCLP?) Any ideas? Thanks
