Help with Titan Ridge on Hackintosh

I’ve got a Titan Ridge rev 2 thunderbolt 3 card with stock Firmware installed on a Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro Wifi system.

I’ve always been able to get macOS running just fine with open core (currently Sonoma). But no matter what I do I can’t seem to get the Titan Ridge to be 100% functional with my display.

If I load macOS using hdmi/displayport and then plug the display in, I get video but be usb ports on the monitor don’t work. Everything, including restarting into Windows keeps working. But occasionally I’ll just lose connectivity and then booting with thunderbolt connected doesn’t work and I have to swap cables to get it working again.

Any ideas on how I could get something more stable? I’d really love to have those extra usb ports and a working display using thunderbolt.
