Share files between macOS and Win dualboot

Greetings,

I'm planning to install macOS on my T480 Thinkpad alongside Windows (both on separate SSDs). Is it possible to at least copy files from one SSD to another (at least from mac SSD to Win SSD)? Will it help formating the Win SSD to NTFS *EDIT (meant FAT32) before installing Windows? Or do I have to create some kind of partition that would be accessible from both operating systems?
