So I dual boot MacOS and Windows from two separate m.2 drives but I reused an old 512gb SSD for more storage that still has a Windows boot manager hidden on it so every time I hit a boot picker I see two Windows options. The one on the storage drive will bring me to a “repair Windows” screen and eventually reboot since there’s no Windows installation on that drive.
Both from mounting the efi partition on Sonoma and Windows the efi partition shows empty so I’m not sure how to get rid of it without breaking the drive, as even my second storage SSD has a hidden efi partition and I’m afraid to just delete the partition all together incase it makes the drive unrecognizable.
Is there a way to remove the Windows boot manager from the drive without making it unbootable, aside from copying everything off the drive, formatting it and then copying everything back?
