I have a max pro 5,1 running open core Monterey 12.7.6. My video card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 680. All is well. I purchased a Saphire Nitro+Radeon RX580 with boot screen and I would like to install. I installed new card. Apple logo progress goes half way then quits and turns off monitor. I tried making a bootable usb from open core patcher but only 12.7.4 is available so when I try to boot from it all I see is a 0 with a line through it. I’m guessing because I’m trying to install an older os than I already have. Command R, Option Command R, nor Command Option Shift R work with the Saphire installed.
How in the world to I get this card to work? Thanks for any help.
