Failed update from 15.2 to 15.5 , now stuck.

I had trouble updating my 2013 MBP from 15.2 to 15.5 so I decided to just wipe it and startover but a Big Sur USB installer made with "createinstallmedia" gives me a prohibitory sign and I'm not sure how to proceed.

Any guidance would be helpful.
