Hey Fam, decided to do my last hackintosh before hackintosh goes into the dust. Was previously running sequoia and wanted to do a clean install for tahoe.
So, here is what is I did,
Grabbed the latest opencore (1.0.5), latest patches, made config.plist and wanted to do offline so corporatenewt unplugged.
Stated the process and the did the install from recovery (Corporate newt did not do offline installation. It still went on the internet and grabbed the copy of tahoe from there).
Then, the pc rebooted and I selected the macos installer from the menu. It ran some instructions on screen and then it got stuck.
So, I went into windows and reviewed the logs. It said error around [EB:LD OFS OPEN] Err(0xE). Read on dortina that it means that preboot is not properly updated. So, as per its instructions, went again to recovery and tried "updatePreboot" but it shows
Error -69808: Some information was unavailable during an internal lookup.
Tried this twice i.e. wiped everything and reinstalled thaoe from opencore again from revocery and still stuck at the same problem.
Any solutions to this?
My specs:
Intel core i5-11400f, 32GB Ram, AMD Radeon RX6600, ASUS TUF Motherborad B560. No wifi or bluetooth or ethernet. Giving internet using Horndis-USB tethering.
