Could Power Nap be responsible for forced macOS updates?

I have an i7 13" 2015 MacBook Pro on Sequoia right now and I'm pretty happy with the performance. I've heard of people getting Tahoe forced on them (even with automatic installs turned off) which bricked their Mac due to Tahoe not being supported. This hasn't happened to me and I also have all automatic updates options turned off (Downloads and Installs are turned off). I still get the annoying pop up tho. I was checking the Battery settings and came across the "Power Nap" and "Wake for Network Access" features which I don't really understand and for now I have both of them turned off, but I remember that back when I first installed, "Power Nap" was enabled by default. I searched around to try to understand what Power Nap does and Apple says that when in charge, Power Nap can also download software updates: https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/guide/mac-help/mh40774/15.0/mac/15.0 . Could this be the reason updates can be installed without the user's permission? I know this is an issue that has happened to non OCLP users as well. Anyways, should Power Nap be kept turned off for OCLP users or is it harmless (or is it actually beneficial)? I understand that Power Nap keeps your iCloud stuff up to date when in sleep but I haven't had a situation when I wake my Mac from sleep and things aren't up to date. I have also noticed that since I turned it off my battery percentage doesn't change overnight like it would before. (before, my battery percentage would go down by around 5 percent overnight, not it just stays the same), but maybe that could just be my battery getting used to my workflow?

Anyways I know this is a long post and I could also be completely wrong. Do you guys have Power Nap turned on on your OCLP machines?
