iMac 12,2 with BCM943602CDP - Bluetooth works, Wi-Fi appears to work but no networks show up

Hi there, I have a 27 inch iMac 12,2 that I'd previously installed a K2100M in High Sierra for many years. I had an issue with the secondary spinning hard drive inside so changed both it and upgraded my solid state and thought, might as well update the airport and Bluetooth card while I'm in there so I installed a BCM943602CDP Bluetooth 4.2 using an Ali adaptor kit. Seemed to go really well, lights turned on when I tested it before putting the display back in, however after booting into a new install of Ventura and applying patches, etc. my Bluetooth functions and I can connect headphones and a trackpad, and the Wi-Fi is selectable and gives me all sorts of details under system profiler but it doesn't detect any networks.

Is something is wrong with the antennas or connections, and at some point I may take it back apart and double check everything but I previously triple checked everything as I put it together.

Any thoughts? This is our family's daily driver and despite my best planning this isn't going smoothly. Appreciate it! Thanks.
