Recommended version for a 2013 MBA?

Hello!

I have a 2013 Macbook Air (13-inch, i7, 8 GB) that I recently got repaired to hopefully breathe some life into. I was wondering which version would run best on it, ideally between Sequoia & Sonoma as I'd like to update to a version that's still supported (mostly bc of security).
