I am in the process of buying a new mac for uni.
I am looking at 1.4-2.4ghz macbook pro 2019
am open to 2018s but i think the processor may be too old and there roughly the same price where i live.
I was wondering after tahoe, will there be ways to keep getting updates even after the 7 year redundancy. I dont want a silicon chip because there may be chances it may be able to get new updates with some external softwares such as opencore.
after this would it be better for me to get a 2019 over 2018 im very new and this will be my first mac.
