Black screen on startup

I use a 2015 MacBook Pro 15” running Sequoia and it has been running absolutely fine for the past month. Wanted to turn it on one day, black screen. Heard the chime so I know it turns on, plugged it into a monitor and it appears, but Mac screen is still black. Tried reconnecting ribbon cable, resetting vram, all those other press and hold buttons with power button, didn’t work. Now I’m stuck on the black screen hoping the power would drain out and maybe it’ll work again. Anyone experience this and know how to fix it?
