Is OCLP stable enough if I only need it for a single printing app? (MacBook Air 2017)

I have a MacBook Air 2017 officially limited to macOS 12 (Monterey). I’m planning to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to upgrade it to macOS 13 (Ventura) or higher.

My only goal is to run a specific app called Photo Booth Assistant. This app lets an iPad on the same network send photos to a USB printer connected to the Mac.

Since my use case is so minimal, do I need to worry about stability issues? I don't know much about OCLP's day-to-day reliability, so I'm wondering if a simple task like this is safe and straightforward. Thanks!
