i set my Displayport audio up following this guide https://hackintosher.com/guides/hackintosh-hdmi-audio-displayport-sound/ and its working, but sometimes it just doesnt. often my monitor isnt listed in the audio devices, and rarely the slider is even completely greyed out with no device detected. but 70% of the time it works as it should, which is nice. i also would like to avoid VoodooHDA, since that one doesnt auto-change the audio device depending on if its plugged in or not.
