I have had a golden hackintosh build for some time now, and just recently my boot time has consistently become slower and slower every time I boot.
I booted with -v, and it seems to be hanging on some kind of issue with APFS snapshots. Here is a screenshot.
It boots like normal in the end, but not after this sluggish period that adds on about an extra 60 seconds to the total boot time. The only thing I changed recently was upgrading to a Samsung 970 Pro which I installed in an M.2 slot on my motherboard.
Any ideas what's happening?
My specs:
- High Sierra 10.13.6

- 64gb Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM
- Nvidia GTX 980Ti
- 1x Samsung 970 Pro 1TB (boot drive)
- 2x 240GB SSD
- 1x 4TB HDD
