I've been using the stock Safari browser that is available with macOS Sierra 10.12.2. In the almost-two months that I've been using my HackBook, Safari has caused a System-wide hang on 3 to 4 occasions. I mean, system is stuck. No movement. No response to any input whatsoever. Even the bloody pointer gets stuck. On the occasions that I've also had music running on iTunes, it's like, the song is stuck between two consecutive milliseconds, playing that slice of the song, over and over (Sorry for the lack for words to paint the picture properly. I hope you get the idea.)
I've never had the patience to wait for the system to recover for more than 30 seconds. I wait for, like, 10-15 seconds and then hard press the power button, and restart. Funny thing, this only happens with Safari. Has anybody else experienced this issue. Is there a fix?
Unlike a kernel panic (which I've had almost 10-11 times, also courtesy of Safari), this little shit never leaves a trace in the /Library/Logs/DiagnosticsReport folder, so I can't pin-point the problem. My awareness and vigilance is dialled up to 11 when using Safari, and my heart skips a beat whenever my mouse pointer doesn't immediately respond to my input.
This is no way to live.
