I'm having a tough time upgrading to Sierra. I have tried 2 different boot loaders.
I had a quick idea, can I run the Sierra install from a running hackintosh and have it install to a different disk?
In other words, add a target drive to your running hackintosh (Yosemite) and have it install to the target drive you just added?
I'm thinking I don't need a boot USB if I can install from a working system. I've tried cloning, but CCC doesn't account for the boot loader and that's where I'm having a problem.
I don't want to "give it a try" only to find out that my only working bootable drive won't work anymore :D
