I'm looking at upgrading my Hackintosh (dual booting 10.8.2 Niresh and 10.11 Clover) which is currently rocking a 660Ti. I've been eyeing up anything from the 970-1050, without breaking the bank on something like a 1080Ti.
I've been surprised though that the 660Ti still seems to hang pretty well when going spec vs spec with the 970-1050 ranges. Is there something I should look at that won't force me to mess with absurd drivers again to get it all stable?
I've been looking at r/hardwareswap looking for deals keep seeing $600+ 1070 and 1080s.
