Hello everyone,
After the recent developments and attitude of Microsoft and Google, I'm curious about how Apple is. I'm planning on getting an iPhone and Macbook at some point when my other things expire or when I get the funds, but as far as desktop I wouldn't pick an iMac. I like being able to work on and choose my own parts.
So, how would I go about getting MacOS on this thing? Specs are as follows:
AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H
8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte/AMD RX 470
single 525GB Crucial SSD
I understand there are difficulties right now with AMD based builds, but I wonder if it can work at all since I've seen that video on the Ryzen 7 hackintosh. Problem is, I've literally never touched hackintosh before and don't have a clue where to start. I don't have a working machine with MacOS installed in the house, in fact the only apple products are two iPads, so is it even possible starting from Windows? I also need to keep Windows on the drive without wiping it, since it has a product key given by Microsoft support after activation issues and I don't know if I'm allowed to enter it again.
