This is going to be my first hackintosh, so excuse if I get some terms wrong. I first started the process by creating my install usb. Since I don't have a Mac handy, I used Virtual Box to run Sierra 10.12.6 and download MacOS High Sierra.
However, the installation file is only 14mb, and I realized that it install the files along with way. So I chose the target disk to be my USB, and now I have a 5GB folder called macOS install data on it. It's not the .app format, so I can't make a USB. Is there anyway I can convert it? I originally thought of just adding a .app to the end, but I thought you guys can give me expert opinion. Thanks!
