Greetings, everyone. I am running macOS High Sierra on a PC with an ASUS Z170I motherboard. The codec used in the motherboard is a Realtek ALC1150. To get the audio codec working, I have been using a combination of AppleALC (with 1 as the layout ID) and RehabMan's CodecCommander kext (so as to not lose sound after sleep). The combination worked fine for me on Sierra, but that has changed since I upgraded to 10.13: I only get sound for a short time (somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes) after booting into macOS, and then it disappears completely. Putting the system into sleep mode and then waking it up triggers CodecCommander, which resets the codec back to a working state, but after a short time, it goes back to being silent. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Perhaps there's someone else on here who's running High Sierra on the same motherboard? Any help is appreciated, and I'll be happy to provide any other details that may be necessary. I'm using the latest versions of both AppleALC and CodecCommander.
