USB Audio doesn't appear for several minutes after boot

Hi,

I have a HyperX Cloud 2 USB headset which has a small soundcard attached to usb, and the headset plugs a jack into the soundcard. On boot, there are no audio devices found in the Sound prefs pain (both Output and Input). After a while, they suddenly appear. Often it helps if I move the USB port.

If I open System Information, the Audio area is completely blank. The USB section states:

HyperX Virtual Surround Sound:

Product ID: 0x16a4 Vendor ID: 0x0951 (Kingston Technology Company) Version: 0.10 Serial Number: 00000000 Manufacturer: Kingston Location ID: 0x14b00000

So it appears it can see the USB device but has trouble enabling audio.

Any ideas? Im totally stumped.
