I recently picked up an RX560 and have installed it alongside my GTX1080. When I'm booted into macOS I plug into the AMD card and when I'm in Windows the GTX1080. For the most part this setup works well but one annoying issue persists when booting into macOS.
For some reason I get the option to mirror displays and the macOS display settings show as if I have another physical monitor connected. I'm currently using SwitchResX to disable this second phantom monitor but my goal is disable the non-existent display permanently, or at least stop macOS seeing the PCI slot where the GTX1080 is as the issue does not occur when only one GPU is installed.
I realise that my setup may be a little unorthodox but I'm interested if anybody has experienced the same issue and whether they were able to successfully resolve it.
