I ran the update from the AppStore and after the installation fixed the build number of the nvidia drivers with the tool from /u/corpnewt: https://github.com/corpnewt/Web-Driver-Toolkit/
After another reboot everything is working perfectly again. Was a job of about 10 minutes.
