82% of Teens Currently Own an iPhone [Chart]

The spring 2018 Piper Jaffray 'Teens Survey' found that 82% of American teenagers own an iPhone, reports Business Insider. The survey questioned thousands of kids across 40 states with an average age of 16.

iPhone ownership among teens is up 4% from last fall and is the highest Piper Jaffray has seen. Notably, that number may soon grow higher as 84% of teens say their next phone will be an iPhone.
