Difficulty with Audio

Hello!

I've found audio to be the hardest thing... And I don't know whats going on... I followed a guide on how to get audio working using AppleALC, and now sometimes when I boot my system, I either get static, or fuzzy audio... I am using an Asus ROG Strix Z270H board with the SupremeFX 1220, and using the patching in clover configurator. Any help would be appreciated!
