I've been running a hackintosh fine for quite a while now (i7 6700K, MSI z170a M5, MSI GTX970). A friend gave me his spare GTX970 which I am willing to try for windows 3d performance reasons. Since as far as I've gathered it would not give me any performance gain in OSX anyway I am not looking to get the second one to work in osx, more like the other way around and deactivate the second one in macos. The system boots fine, but the second card seems to give me troubles. Especially with transparency effects I see artifacting (like the notification overlay in symbols in the dock, or the bookmark icons in safari if I click on the adress bar). This was not the case with a single GPU. Vram is detected properly for both cards.
I've tried enabling NvidiaSingle in Graphics settings in clover configurator and it did not change anything. Inject Nvidia is off, NvidiaWeb is on, Lilu.kext is there.
Anyone got an idea? Ofc worst case means removing the second gpu. A properly working hackintosh is more important for me than a few more fps in windows.
