Intermittent WiFi issues with TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N900

Hello,

As the title says, I'm having issues with my TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N900. When I was running Windows with the same card before my switch to hackintosh, my WiFi speed was faster, and it never cut out. Now that I'm running macOS, I only get around 6MiB/s download, and if I download anything at that speed for a sustained amount of time (i.e. system updates, large files, Logic Pro X default library files), my WiFi will cut out.

I've tried turning my WiFi off and back on when this happens which restores functionality for a few minutes, but then inevitably drops again. I'm not sure what I could do to fix this issue other than switching to wired internet, but I'd rather not run a 50ft cable from my router to my desktop.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix/troubleshoot this issue?

Thank you.
