Built another system using some spare bits I had lying around. Everything works swimmingly except for one weird bug which my search has resulted in not finding this specific issue. If I let the computer sleep, and then rewake, signal returns and all works well. If I power cycle my monitor fully or unplug and replug the cable, I don't get anything except the monitors OSD showing the resolution status and a black screen. This behave the same on all screens I tested it with (also windows works as it should) so this is definitely a mac os issue.
Currently have the latest Lilu+Whatevergreen+Apple ALC. My platform ID is set for the correct skylake gfx number (0x19120000) with Inject Intel selected. I don't have any other graphics related settings. I am hoping it is just a setting I have overlooked, but so far all the issues I have found posted on other forums pertain to black screen all happening during the install process and not once the HDMI has been fully unplugged.

Incredibly Vanilla (aka bare minimum required kexts) Sierra 10.12.6
Gigabyte Designare z170
6700Kv i7
16gb Ram
1TB samsung 850 SSD
SMBIOS is all correct (imessage etc all work)
Any help would be awesome! This is my last, and quite annoying, hurdle for the build.
