I'm a Software Engineer who's new to OS X, planning on porting my existing software to Mac so I need to setup Mac build environment and have Qt/Xamarin tools/IDE setup. I have an extra Dell Optiplex 7040 Micro laying around that I could use(hackintosh), but I haven't really used OS X before and from what I've read online there are often issues with drivers and stability.
I really don't have time to mess around with drivers and other hacks. Would it be easy & stable to setup OS X on the machine I have or should I just bite the bullet and get a Mac Mini?
