Hi,
I have a Macbook pro 2015 , it's been serving me well for the past years but I'd like an upgrade. My plan is to build a powerful PC and run a Hack alongside Windows for gaming. At the current time it seems that the best route for a Hack is Intel and AMD GPUs, fanboyism aside they are both IMO bad choices currently since Ryzen is booming while AMD GPUs are struggling.
I know there is an AMD OS X project but I'm not sure how good it is, also most things Mac are optimized for Intel no idea how that affects UX. I also know there is an issue with Nvidea drivers and Apple that might never be resolved.
I plan to pull the trigger some time in Q2/Q3 2019, hopefully Zen2, 7nm GPU, Intel 10nm make it by then, meanwhile I want to hear feedback from people understanding my situation to know if a Hack is worth buying "subpar" hardware.
