[Help] Two weeks of installs later and close to giving up. HDMI from motherboard works at full res (3440x1440) but Vega 64 DP only works up to 1080

First time question asker, long-time appreciater and lurker. I decided to buy a vega 64 a couple of weeks ago when I saw a great deal and that gave the chance tro update my build to Mojave. I've had the biggest headache with this machine though for the last weeks. I've been using this guide and I have everything working fine except graphics to monitor is just wonky as all hell. I have tried the other vanilla guides out there and for some reason I've had the best luck with this one.

Anyways, If I'm plugged into my Vega Displayport at full resolution of 3440x1440 60Hz then I get a black screen halfway through the apple logo on startup and I can't do anything. I can sometimes boot to safe mode and change resolution to 1080p and then reboot to normal and use the computer at 1080p. I just found out though that I can do HDMI from the motherboard at full resolution but at 50Hz which isn't the end of the world and will allow me to not be locked out in the future, but I want to be plugged into the card ideally. I've done googling and over a dozen fresh installs with various kexts to figure out how to make this work and for the life of me it just keeps giving me trouble. Any help would be cherished more than you could imagine.

Specs: Motherboard: GA-H170N Wifi

CPU: i7 6700

GPU: Sapphire Vega 64

Display: Dell U3415W

Network: BCM94352Z

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit

EFI folder, I may have gone a little crazy with all the kexts but I'm getting desperate to fix this and any advice is super appreciated.

Cheers!
