Install stops at 11 minutes, errors out, "macOS could not be installed on your computer. An error occurred installing macOS. To use Apple Diagnostics to check your Mac hardware, shut down, press the power button, and immediately hold the 'D' key until diagnostics begins."

I am following the High Sierra V3 Guide. Steps Performed:

  • Downloaded High Sierra from amd-osx.com
  • Installed To USB using Transmac
  • Changed my BIOS Settings
  • Booted once, erased drive and formatted as Journaled. Made partition and made sure it is a GUID Partition Map. Installed on drive
  • Reboot, run preinstall off USB
  • Reboot, change options to injectATI and injected the fakeID of 0x67DF1002 for my card. Then I tried to install OS. Freezes at 11 minutes and gives me an error.

macOS could not be installed on your computer. An error occurred installing macOS. To use Apple Diagnostics to check your Mac hardware, shut down, press the power button, and immediately hold the 'D' key until diagnostics begins. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.

Could this be a problem with my BIOS Settings or Hard Drive?

Hardware:

  • Ryzen 2600
  • Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
  • 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz
  • Rx570 8GB

I have access to the USB Files, so I can dump or upload them if needed. Not sure what is useful.
