Possible to share common home folder between High Sierra and Mojave?

I have these two OS installed on different partitions. I also have my home folder on an entirely different SSD. On Mojave, I now have my home mapped to this home folder. I have just installed High Sierra. Can I just point my home folder in High Sierra to that same location? Will it cause any conflicts?
