I have a Windows 10 boot SSD and a Mac OS X Mojave boot SSD. I plan to upgrade the motherboard and cpu. I use a gigabyte Z87X mobo along with a 4790k CPU. Now I'll upgrade to gigabyte Z390 and the i9 9900k CPU.
Will I have to reinstall both OS? If I do, is there a way to keep the files that are already on there, i.e. avoiding the formatting of these SSDs?
