No sound or working top trackpad buttons on T420?

I used Tluck's kext files as it seems to be the go-to for the T420 but Mac OS High Sierra can't detect any device for sound output.

Also, only the bottom buttons of the trackpad work, not the top or the track point.

Is there any other kext files that I'm missing to get these working? I've done extensive Googling and I can't find anyone with this issue.
