My ThinkPad P51 has the i7-7700hq and Quadro m1200. My other mac is a mid-2012 macbook Pro with the i5-3210M. I am going to begin doing photo/video editing, and I have come to realize that the MacOS has it's advantages there. I saw another post where someone did this, and they said that the dGPU, the M1200, did not work. However, would the TB3 port still work? I have an eGPU enclosure to push my 3 monitors, and I would like to retain usage of those monitors. If this works, this saves me 500-1000 dollars because I don't have to buy a new mac.
