Apple is shutting down its Texture magazine subscription app following the launch of Apple News+. Texture's last day of service is May 28, 2019.Users who switch to Apple News+ will get a free month trial but will lose their favorites and collections. Apple is advising users who want to keep a saved story to screenshot it.
Your Texture preferences will not be carried over to your Apple News+ subscription. You can select new favorites by following channels in the News app. If you have Saved Stories in Texture that you would like to keep, you can take screenshots in the Texture app and save them to your device.
