Hi all, so the specs of this laptop is an i7-2670qm + 8GB ddr3 (2x 4GB) + 250GB HDD with Windows Server 2019 currently installed.
I was trying to get macOS 10.12.6 installer booting with rehabman's clover. However it gets a kernel panic after reaching the line "sound assertion ...." and before the line is "IOGraphics flags 0x43". I am totally lost if it's the graphics causing the panic or the audio drivers.
I am using rehabman's 1366x768 HD3000 series 6 config.plist. I am also using his kext setup, except I didn't include ethernet kext as I'm not sure which one to use. I tried the series 7 and same error. I even tried to edit the SMBIOS in config.plist to MacBookPro8,2 and same error. I tried injecting invalid ig-platform-id same error. All the same kernel panic right after " sound assertion... ". Tried -x bootflag but it kernel panics immediately.
So yeah, I am totally lost right now... I just need a fix to get into the installer. Could it be because of a faulty sound hardware? I don't need audio/graphics QE/CI as I am planning to use it as a server (for AirMessage, iMessage on android).
