Input mic volume goes to 0% when not watching

Hi, i'm having a not-so-big but annoying problem. Every time i need to use my mic, i need to go to settings and raise the volume. The only way to keep the mic functional during a call, is to have the Sound settings open so it doesn't goes down.

This happens with my USB headset, i don't know if it also happens with a normal mic that goes plugged to the motherboard because i don't have one.
