I got a Mojave installed on a particular SSD formatted for APFS. I am able to boot into the OS and it’s been pretty stable.
I have an M.2 NVMe SSD and when I format it to APFS, I get a kernel panic. There is definitely more research for me to do but I had a general question I was wondering if someone could answer quickly.
Does MacOS care which SSD you are installing too? For example, I could buy any mSATA or M.2 drive at my local electronics shop and use that to boot Mac OS?
