My hackintosh is working, High Sierra 10.13.6 . Not complete I still can’t figure out how to get iCloud and FaceTime to work.
Audio and all of that stuff works!
My SMBIOS is iMac 12,2 and the kexts I used was; • Whatever Green • Voodoo HDA • Voodoo PS2 • Lilu • FakeSMC
Uncommon issues that might help someone in future: The MAJOR issue I overcame and the thing that delayed the project was my graphics card. For months I kept looking for a solution as when I used NVIDIA Web drivers I’d get a blank screen. I reinstalled and tried lots of did kexts. What the problem was is that the ASUS VBIOS just didn’t play well with MacOS and my solution was flashing my card to the MSI version of the card. (This might help anyone in the future)
The original plan was just a Virtualbox VM of High Sierra for Xcode. I then used that to install it onto an External Hard Drive and up until yesterday I used to run MacOS on that. As my internet speeds are slow instead of reinstalling onto an internal hdd I used
Carbon Copy Cloner. It’s a useful tool - good for backups
If anyone has any ideas on how to get iMessage and FaceTime working let me know. If I do get that fixed I’ll get a Bluetooth adapter or a Bluetooth card 🤷🏽♂️.
